ET7 Andar Bahar and Dragon Tiger rules cover with cards and a dragon and tiger

Andar Bahar and Dragon Tiger sit next to each other in the ET7 card games section, and people compare them often. This guide puts the ET7 Andar Bahar and Dragon Tiger rules side by side. Both games are quick, both are pure chance, and a round is over in seconds, but they feel quite different once you play them.

The current ET7 game lobby lists both as featured games. Depending on the current version of the ET7 app, individual tables may offer extra side bets, so users should check each table's rules screen before betting.

ET7 Andar Bahar Rules

Andar Bahar is an old Indian game where a round ends when a card matching the joker's rank appears.

  1. The dealer places one card face up in the middle. This is the joker, sometimes called the game card.
  2. Players bet on where a card of the same rank will land: Andar (inside) or Bahar (outside).
  3. Cards are dealt one at a time, alternating between the two sides.
  4. When a card matches the joker's rank, the round ends and that side wins.

Suits do not matter. If the joker is the 8 of clubs, any 8 ends the round.

Say the joker is a Queen. The dealer puts a 3 on Andar, a 9 on Bahar, a King on Andar, a 5 on Bahar, and then a Queen lands on Andar. Andar wins. Sometimes it ends on the first card and sometimes it takes twenty, and that wait is what makes the game fun to watch.

Which Side Gets the First Card?

Rules differ here. Some tables always start on one side, and others decide it from the joker card. Some also offer side bets, such as how many cards will be dealt before the match. The table's rules screen shows what applies.

ET7 Dragon Tiger Rules

Dragon Tiger deals one card to each side, and the higher card wins.

  1. Players bet on Dragon, Tiger or Tie.
  2. The dealer places one card face up on Dragon and one on Tiger.
  3. The higher card wins, and the round is done.

King is the highest card and Ace is the lowest, so an Ace counts as 1. Suits usually do not matter for the main bet. If both cards share a rank, the round is a tie.

New players should understand the tie before betting. A tie is less likely than either side winning, which is why it is a separate bet. On many tables, a tie means Dragon and Tiger bets lose part or all of their stake. Exactly what happens is set by the table, so read its rules first.

How the Two Games Differ

The main differences are speed, what decides the result, and which bet needs the most care.

  • Speed: Dragon Tiger is two cards. Andar Bahar can run from one card to a long stretch.
  • Result: Dragon Tiger is high card. Andar Bahar is about a matching rank showing first.
  • Tricky bet: the tie in Dragon Tiger, and the card-count side bets in Andar Bahar.
  • Feel: Andar Bahar feels like a home game to many Indian players, while Dragon Tiger feels like a casino table.

Questions Players Ask

Most questions about these two games come back to one point: each round is separate.

Can I count cards?

Not in any useful way. Online tables typically shuffle or use fresh decks. Both games should be treated as chance.

If one side wins five times in a row, is the other side due?

No. A streak does not make the other side more likely. This is the most common mistake at both tables.

Which is easier for beginners?

Dragon Tiger, because there is less to learn. Watching two or three rounds before betting is enough to understand either one.

Are the tables different in the ET7 APK and on the web?

The games are the same in the ET7 APK on Android and the mobile web version on iPhone. You may also see the platform written as ET7.com, ET7.game or ET7game.

Tips for Fast Card Games

Fast rounds move money quickly, so a fixed plan helps.

  • Pick one bet size and keep it.
  • Do not raise the bet to win back a loss.
  • Take a short break every so often.

Our ET7 tips guide has a few more habits like these. Both tables are under card games after your ET7 login.
