7Up 7Down is about as simple as a casino game gets: two dice, one number in the middle, and a quick guess about which side the total will land on. It began as a fair and mela game in India, and the ET7 7Up 7Down game keeps the same idea. This guide explains the three bets and why 7 behaves differently from the other two.

The Three Bets in ET7 7Up 7Down

Two dice are rolled, and you bet on whether the total is below 7, above 7, or exactly 7.

The total of two six-sided dice can be anything from 2 to 12. Before the roll, you choose one of these:

• 7 Down: the total will be 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.
• 7 Up: the total will be 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12.
• Lucky 7: the total will be exactly 7.

If the total is 7, both Up and Down bets lose. That catches many first-time players out.

Why 7 Is the Narrow Bet

Only 6 of the 36 possible dice combinations add up to 7.

This is ordinary dice maths and has nothing to do with ET7 in particular. Two dice give 36 combinations, six faces times six faces:

• Totals below 7: 15 combinations
• Totals above 7: 15 combinations
• Exactly 7: 6 combinations (1+6, 2+5, 3+4, 4+3, 5+2, 6+1)

So Up and Down are evenly matched with each other, and 7 covers a much smaller slice. That is why it is the special bet. It is also why 7 is the most common single total, even though "below 7" and "above 7" each happen more often as groups.

Common Mistakes

Most mistakes in this game come from treating dice as if they remember earlier rolls.

"7 hasn't come for ages, so it's due"

Each roll is fresh. If 7 has not appeared in fifteen rolls, the next roll is exactly as likely to be 7 as any other.

Switching sides after every loss

Moving from Up to Down after a loss feels like doing something, but it does not change anything.

Raising the bet to win it back

Say you started with ₹200 and you are down to ₹100. Doubling the bet to "get back to even" is the quickest way to reach zero. Keeping the bet steady is the safer habit.

A round in the ET7 game takes only a few seconds from bet to result.

Depending on the current version, users may find the three betting areas laid out side by side, with Down on one side, Up on the other and 7 in the middle. You pick a chip value, tap the area you want, and wait for the short countdown to end. The dice roll, the total appears, and winning bets are settled straight away.
